Sundays at CBC

Our main 10:30am Service

Our morning service lasts for about an hour, and is followed by tea and coffee. The service is our main gathering of the week, and during the hour we will sing, pray, and hear part of the Bible read, preached, and applied to real life. You won't be asked to do anything, and you don't need to be a Christian to come - everyone is welcome to just come and listen in. You can watch a recent live-stream to get an favour of what a normal service looks like by clicking HERE.

CRECHE, EXPLORERS, & DIGGERS

A well-run creche and two children's groups run alongside just over half of the service. We aim to make these groups fun and welcoming places to be. The two children's groups include age-appropriate Bible teaching, because we believe the good news about Jesus is for everyone! Diggers is for children in reception-year 2, and Explorers is for children in years 3-6.

Everyone involved with this is DBS checked in accordance with our child-protection policy.

GETTING HERE & PARKING

We meet at our church building in Cuckfield (Cuckfield Baptist Church, RH17 5GP) at the bottom of Polestub Lane. You'll likely see some banners at the top of the road, so hopefully you won't miss it.

There is ample parking in our Church car park, so you shouldn't have a problem finding a space, especially if you are disabled.

FAQS

What should I wear?
Whatever you like & makes you feel comfortable. We don't have a dress code - most people wear casual clothing.

Will I be asked to give any money?
No. Our services are free, and you won't be asked to give any money.

What happens after the service finishes?

Most people stay around to chat over a cup of tea or coffee, and this is an important part of our welcome. You don't need to stay, but it's a great way to get to know people.

Sunday afternoons

We meet at 5:30pm every week (other than the first Sunday of the month when we have a church lunch) to focus on prayer, or to think about a topic together.
