One of the things that we do every week together is sing. We do this, not only in obedience to the Lord Jesus (see above), but also because it is a natural response to all that God has done for us through Jesus. We sing to God (both praising and praying to him in song), we sing together (and therefore to one another), and we also sing to ourselves - all with the purpose of letting God's word change our hearts and our lives. We sing a variety of songs - some that have been written very recently, through to others that are well over 1000 years old.
